Coil Thread Nuts
Acme nuts are designed to mate with high load bearing Acme threaded studs, rods, and screws, and are often used in machine applications that transmit motion with leadscrews. Nothing has been done to this bare metal surface to improve appearance or corrosion resistance, which is very low if the material is steel.
