Gibraltar Flange Nuts

Gibraltar flange nuts are serrated-flange locking nuts — teeth on the bearing face bite into the surface to resist back-off under vibration, with the built-in washer face spreading load. A strong one-part locking solution for non-finished surfaces.

Note the serrations mar the bearing surface, so they are not for finished faces. For those, use a smooth steel flange nut.

FAQ

What are Gibraltar flange nuts?

Serrated-flange locking nuts whose teeth bite the surface to resist vibration loosening, combining a washer face and a lock in one part.

Do serrated flange nuts damage the surface?

The serrations mar the bearing face, which is fine on structural and non-finished surfaces but not on finished faces.
