The SSSC1/4-28X3/8PL is a 1/4-28 x 3/8 socket set screw, cone point. Set screws have no head — the entire fastener sits flush with or below the surface. The Cone point: conical hardened point penetrates shaft material for maximum holding power — creates a permanent mark on the shaft. Best for high-torque shaft-to-hub retention. Drive: 1/8" hex key. Meets ASME B18.3.
