The SSSO3/8-16X1/2PL is a 3/8-16 x 1/2 socket set screw, oval point. Set screws have no head — the entire fastener sits flush with or below the surface. The Oval point: rounded oval end provides a balance between holding power and shaft marking — less aggressive than a cup point, more grip than a flat point. Drive: 3/16" hex key. Meets ASME B18.3.
