The 188SSSO7/16-14X7/8 is a 7/16-14 x 7/8 socket set screw, oval point. Set screws have no head — the entire fastener sits flush with or below the surface. The Oval point: rounded oval end provides a balance between holding power and shaft marking — less aggressive than a cup point, more grip than a flat point. Drive: 7/32" hex key. Meets ASME B18.3.
