Why use an end cap on strut?
A cut strut end has sharp edges and an open channel. A plastic safety end cap covers the edge to prevent cuts and snags and gives the run a finished look; color-coded caps also help with labeling and visibility. Metal raceway caps close off enclosed strut runs used as electrical raceway.
What is a pipe roller used for on strut?
A pipe roller is an adjustable support that lets a pipe roll as it expands and contracts with temperature, instead of being clamped tight. It is used on long hot or cold lines where thermal movement would otherwise stress the supports. Ours adjust over a height range and mount to strut.
What is an internal U joiner?
An internal U joiner slips inside two strut ends to splice them into a continuous run from within, keeping the outside clean. It is common on raceway and enclosed strut. For external joining use a splice plate.

What size end cap do I need?
Match the cap to the strut profile: 13/16 inch shallow, 1-5/8 inch standard, or 3-1/4 inch deep channel. Plastic safety caps come in colors (red, white, yellow, grey). If you are unsure, measure the channel height and width.
